Are AI tools saving our time or taking it? 🤔

Updated: Nov 14, 2024

If you're an entrepreneur or leader today, you're likely juggling AI tools in your daily routine. And while they hold the power to make us faster and sharper (goodbye, clunky workflows! 👋), AI can also leave us overwhelmed with the options and features we could be using.

A recent study found that 48% of professionals feel overwhelmed by the pace of AI innovation—and I totally get it!

Because every week, a “game-changing” AI tool pops up, promising to make our lives easier, our businesses more profitable, and our routines more efficient.

But at some point, the tools can start slowing us down if we’re not strategic with what we’re picking.

To avoid AI burnout, here are my top picks that actually deliver (other than ChatGPT) for a non-tech business model (after some trial and error!):

=> Canva AI Magic: Beyond visuals, it helps with quick copy, designs, and even video editing.

=> Jasper: Perfect for content marketing—this tool streamlines copywriting and helps maintain a consistent brand voice.

=> Claude AI: Think of it as ChatGPT’s strategic sibling, designed to help with complex research and topic summaries.

=> Veed: Powerful video editing, from subtitles to text-to-video features. Great if you’re building a brand with video content.

=> Loom: For fast, personal videos to clients or team members, this tool is a gem for efficiency and engagement.

=> Pictory: Transforms text into video summaries. Handy for content creators looking to reach audiences in bite-sized formats.

Yes, AI opens new doors for businesses to scale and operate smartly, but remember, tools only work as well as our clarity on how we use them.

Before diving into every new shiny app, take a step back and ask:

=> What are your business’s current priorities?

=> Which audience matters most right now?

=> Which operational challenges actually need solving?

Embrace the tools that fit you—AI should work for your goals, not the other way around.

Last month, I had the attend the AI Symposium at Google Zurich, where I could exchange with entrepreneurs and corporate leaders from various industries about how to use AI.

Thank you Bluewin for the interview.
