We’ve all been there. The end of the weekend is quickly approaching and the thought of going back to work on Monday is leaving you feeling unmotivated and uninspired. In fact, Mondays can often feel like the hardest day of the week to get started. It can be tough to find the energy to get back into the swing of things, but it’s important to reignite your spark and start the week on a positive note.


Here are five coaching tips to help you find your motivation and take on the week ahead with enthusiasm.


Set goals for the week ahead:

One of the most effective ways to regain motivation is to set goals for the week ahead. This will give you something to work towards and help you prioritize your time. Make your goals specific, measurable, and achievable, and write them down to hold yourself accountable. Setting realistic goals will help you focus on what you want to achieve and give you a sense of purpose.


Take care of yourself:

Self-care is crucial to maintaining motivation and energy during the workweek. Make sure you are getting adequate sleep, exercise, and nutrition. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, and take breaks throughout the day to stretch your legs and clear your mind. Make self-care a priority and you will find that you have more energy and focus to tackle your work.


Find accountability:

Sometimes it can be helpful to have someone to keep you accountable and motivated. Find a co-worker, friend, or mentor who can help you stay on track. Use positive affirmations:

Positive affirmations are a powerful way to shift your mindset and boost your motivation. Write down a few affirmations that resonate with you, such as:


“I am capable of achieving my goals”

Repeat these affirmations to yourself throughout the day to help shift your perspective and increase your motivation.


Reflect and reset:
